Steels Gate Wines is a boutique winery, cellar door and restaurant in the Yarra Valley. Situated in a picturesque hillside setting at Dixons Creek, Steels Gate Cellar Door and Restaurant is located just 60km from the heart of Melbourne.
The Steels Gate story centres on winemakers Brad Atkins and Matthew Davis who have been producing wine from their ‘Home Block’ at the very top of Steels Creek in the Yarra Valley since 2010.
Brad and Matt have travelled and lived overseas and returned to Australia in 2014 to focus on wine-making full time. Surrounding themselves with great people, they are building a boutique destination in the Yarra Valley that is quickly developing a reputation for great wine, food and service.
The combination of good food, good wine and exceptional views make sitting down for a meal almost irresistible. Steels Gate food is hand crafted in the onsite kitchen. Where possible, the herbs and vegetables are fresh from our garden. The relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect place to experience our full selection of food and wines, while absorbing the serenity of the Yarra Valley. The restaurant also boasts two wide open verandahs for outdoor enjoyment amongst the vines.
